EASTER OF 1998

I remember the Easter of 1998
my fist vacation without my parents..
brings so many fond memories.

That Easter Vacation Changed my life
It was for me the beginning of my journey
My faith journey...

That Vacation was orchestrated divinely
I had a date with destiny
as in the simplest of ways
I accepted Jesus as my Lord and saviour

I remember my cousin Victoria gave me a novel to read(a teenage christian novel)
and when I finished it and narrated the story to her
she asked in line with the message of the book
if I wanted to make Jesus my lord and saviour..
Yes I replied..and she led me in a very simple prayer..
and that was it...I went back home a changed 12 year old
and God has had his hands on me since then..

O there were many a times I strayed..
forgot who I was and who I was meant to be
but God's hands never left me.
I have been forgiven much that's why I love much.

looking back...I wonder how my life would have turned out
If my cousin didn't cease the moment
and minister to me that Easter..

You see I lost my mum 2 years after that
just before another Easter....
Maybe my heart would have been so hardened
Maybe I would have turned against the lord
Maybe the hurt would have made me sink deep in sin
so many maybe's
But God saw ahead..and used my cousin Victoria
to win my soul before the devil had any chance to.

I was privilleged to spend yet another Easter with my cousin Victoria and my heart was filled with gratitude
 a midst the unspoken words.
Heavens records show...Victoria Led this woman of faith to Christ..

He that wins a soul is wise..Provs 11:30
lord may I understand the importance of the great commission
to lead souls to you..To be a light in darkness..To be a Victoria
to someone out there..to cease every opportunity I have to witness for Jesus.IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

Children of God...lets go a fishing

If you were to die today and you are not sure if you would make heaven..Heaven and Hell is real..make a decision now before it is too late..
say this with me..Lord Jesus I need you...I recognize that I can't save myself but I know you can save me..forgive me of my sins..Be my lord and saviour..Take over my life and use me for your glory. In Jesus Mighty Name.Amen.

Congratulations....Your Journey Of faith begins Now..
let us know if you prayed this prayer..
You would never Walk ALONE.

WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF?

Before the novelty of the new year wears off Let me take time to welcome you to 2015 and wish you a great year.. I so love a new year,it is a constant reminder of the Kind of God we serve.. who gives us another opportunity To start again, dream again, run again..regardless of what May or may not have happened in the past year.. Permit me to take a slow ride down memory lane as I look back at the highlight of my year 2014... I must look back so that I can appreciate  from whence God has brought me and where he is taking me to. I must look back lest I take for granted all he has done for me. I must look back so when the enemy comes to lie to me that God hasn't been good I can count my blessings and make My boast in the Lord. 2years ago after the loss of my daughter I found out that there was a 50/50 chance that the next child I conceived  was also going to die. I remember the consultant looking at I and my husband with a very sad face as he told ...

Who is your father?

Who is your father? I remember the first time I travelled to my village without my parents I must have been in primary school and my dearest grandmother of blessed memory insisted my parents brought me over for the weekend. Village life really and truly intrigued me, I loved the simplicity of communal living and how content everyone seemed, food was eaten fresh from the farms, with the large itigidi river providing fresh fish and water, and in the evenings, a dozen children would gather in my granny’s living room to watch a DVD, what was there not to like, for a child living in the city and raised overseas, village life was exciting, refreshing and alluring. That was the first of many visits, the older i got,  my grandmother became the most influential woman in my life, especially as I had lost my mother at age 14. She was wise, inspiring and I picked up my literary prowess from her as she and my mum piqued my interest in books. She would make me write letters to her and...

Are you taking notes?

Are you taking notes? I am so excited, something is brewing…but I cannot aptly describe it; I know without a shadow of a doubt that something is about to happen. I am so pumped about my future and what God is doing and as I look ahead, I cannot help but reminisce for we cannot truly appreciate how far we have come until we look back. Today I had a flashback to a season of my life where I was overlooked, underrated, and written off. I was that girl with nothing going on for her, I could walk into a room and not be noticed, not because I wasn’t beautiful, attractive or good looking but because when people looked at me in that season, all they could see was what had happened to me. What had happened to me? I had failed and repeated a year in university, I was the assistant class rep that year and I had to be replaced. Oh!  the disgrace and shame I felt, every bit of confidence I had in myself was knocked down. I still remember the silence and hushed tones when s...
