Do you need a Lifting?

I Stepped into Church Sunday morning just as praise and worship was ending
and the choir was singing a song by Chris Tomlin and that was all I really needed to lift me up..
I felt God speaking directly to my troubled heart..
I felt my doubts and worries melt away..
Ah!..God indeed is a good God..

Nothing else that was said mattered not even the powerful ministration by the Pastor..
All I could hear in my spirit was that The GOD OF ANGEL ARMIES IS ALWAYS BY MY SIDE..
Ah...such reassurance....such comfort.
I had just gone through a week filled with so many uncertainties and discouraging news
and I was a little downcast, I needed a host of angels dispatched to work on my case and here was God ministering to me, reminding me that He is the God of angel armies and He has gone before me.

Indeed we serve a good God who knows how to speak to the raging
storms in our lives, restoring calm and reminding us constantly that He is our ever present help in times of need.
I choose to trust that all things are working for my Good, He holds the whole world in His Hands.

I would continue to hold on to His promises  for He is faithful and He hears me when I call
He is forever mindful of me and He has dispatched a host of angels on my behalf.
For I know who goes before me and who stands behind.
I am encouraged. I am hopeful and my Joy remains intact.
I praise God In advance for what He is set to do
Indeed I would testify of His goodness.

Regardless of the negativity around you..
Be reminded that God is by your side
Don't let your challenges weigh you down
God would cause you to be victorious
Dwell on His promises, Remind yourself of how far He has brought you
In due season, you would Testify If you faint not.

This week God would fast track answers to our prayers
and position us to be supernaturally favoured
In Jesus Name.
Amen.

Are you taking notes?

  Are you taking notes? I am so excited, something is brewing…but I cannot aptly describe it; I know without a shadow of a doubt that something is about to happen. I am so pumped about my future and what God is doing and as I look ahead, I cannot help but reminisce for we cannot truly appreciate how far we have come until we look back. Today I had a flashback to a season of my life where I was overlooked, underrated, and written off. I was that girl with nothing going on for her, I could walk into a room and not be noticed, not because I wasn’t beautiful, attractive or good looking but because when people looked at me in that season, all they could see was what had happened to me. THIS TOO SHALL PASS

Oh no, it was actually real, the scene that had just flashed before me wasn't from the contagion movie. It was actually real. Somebody pinch me! News , mayhem, panic buying, fear mongering, social distancing,self-isolation unimaginable loss of lives, truncation of businesses, and untold hardship for many. I caught myself as a wave of fear washed over me, what is the meaning of all of this, what must I do, what is God saying? As I pondered, I could hear very clearly in my spirit these words: "This too shall pass "and almost immediately an unexplainable peace and confidence in a God who is bigger than my fears and still In control settled me. How are you doing child of God? Are you troubled, worried, tired,afraid or overwhelmed? Rest in the assurance of God's word and His love.
